Chris Gay Vice President and CISO Southeastern Grocers Southeastern Grocers (SEG) LLC, parent company and home of BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is the fifth-largest conventional supermarket chain in the U.S. and the second-largest conventional supermarket in the Southeast based on store count. SEG employs nearly 60,000 associates who serve customers in 690 grocery stores, as well as liquor stores and in-store pharmacies throughout the seven southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina. As the CISO at SEG Chris is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the company’s information security program focused on managing threats and vulnerabilities through technology and administrative controls. Chris is also responsible for ensuring business imperatives and capabilities possess and promote appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and system assets. Chris has been with SEG since 2015. In total, Chris has over 29 years’ experience in Information Technology and Security. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems from the University of North Florida.
